Update on Enterprise Resource
Planning (ERP) Partners
As you may recall, we spent much of last year evaluating potential Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) partners and their capabilities alongside the phase zero documentation we built, to identify our current and future needs of an ERP system.
We are excited to share that we have not only chosen but have already begun working
with two industry-leading companies, NBC Sports Next and Salesforce.
-
NBC Sports NEXT and their NBC SportsEngine Motion Registration Platform will be our consumer-facing point of sale system and will utilize not only desktop and mobile applications but also an app, which will be white-labeled for Soccer Shots. The SportsEngine Motion Registration Platform is designed to cater to both back-office and customer-facing registration needs. This cutting-edge platform will revolutionize the way you manage registrations, providing seamless efficiency and unparalleled convenience.

Salesforce will be our Customer Relationship Management and Reporting Platform and offers comprehensive dashboards and reporting functionalities that will be tailored to meet the specific needs of the franchise community and FST. This tool will empower you with actionable insights to drive informed decision-making and foster business success through simple KPI dashboards, reports, and customer account management.
-
Salesforce will also be our email and customer communication platform utilizing their Marketing Cloud technologies. Salesforce will allow us to continue to improve and automate digital marketing strategies across various channels including email, social media, mobile apps, websites, and more. These tools will provide the community with the potential to engage your audience effectively and amplify our brand presence like never before.
These three tools will be integrated to provide a seamless experience for franchise partners and customers alike. We have begun working with NBC and Salesforce to begin building these individual platforms to Soccer Shots’ specifications. To ensure a smooth transition we have also identified 14 franchise partners to participate in a Pilot Group. This group will begin meeting in April to provide valuable feedback and commence training sessions.
The rollout for the pilot group is targeted for Fall 2.0 or Winter season, depending on which programs they are running during the launch timeframe. We have also extended our contract with Configio through December 31, 2024. We are actively collaborating with the Configio leadership team to ensure continuity of support during this transition period.
While we are targeting a rollout to the entire system in January of 2025, we are also committed to a seamless transition and have reserved the right to extend our contract with Configio as needed. Rest assured; your operations remain our top priority.
Lastly, we hope that you will join us at the convention this summer in Dallas, Texas, where NBC representatives will be present to engage with you and showcase the exciting features of our new platform. Don't miss out on breakout sessions which will offer insights and demonstrations of the NBC Motion Registration Platform.
We are incredibly excited about these developments and the positive impact they will have on our business. We will continue to communicate as we progress. Please let us know if you have any additional questions at this time.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Update
On 18 March, we published a Franchisee Update about our new ERP partners, NBC Sports Next and Salesforce. As we begin system training with our pilot group, we want to provide you with an updated timeline. Currently, we are looking at a complete system roll-out for summer 2025.
The perspective timeline is as follows:
Late 2024/Early 2025 – Begin training on new systems
Early 2025 – Go live with summer 2025 offerings on NBC for customer enrollment while finishing the spring 2025 season on Configio (this includes closing subscription products on Configio)
Mid 2025 – Full system launched on new platforms/sunset Configio (estimated date: 8/31/25)
We are planning on holding training sessions in three groups. We are finalizing the exact dates and times and will know more after we follow up with the pilot group. Once we have the dates finalized, we will open up sign-ups to each group. For anyone attending the Soccer Shots Convention, NBC will be hosting a breakout session to demonstrate some of the features of their platform. We will continue to provide updates as they are available in future Goal Posts and on the Strategic Priorities site.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Update
We are thrilled to share the exciting progress we’ve made over the past several months in collaboration with our pilot groups and valued partners, NBC and Salesforce, to develop and test our new ERP system. Currently, five franchise partners have successfully onboarded to the NBC platform and are actively taking enrollments. Additional partners are preparing to go live in the coming weeks, making further progress toward a system-wide rollout next year.
To keep you informed and engaged, we’ll be providing regular updates on the pilot program’s progress in each of the upcoming Goal Post emails.
As showcased during the Convention in July, this new system brings significant improvements and advantages over Configio. Thanks to the hard work of our pilot group, we’ve identified even more ways to enhance the platform, ensuring it’s tailor-made for the Soccer Shots system. The NBC team has been working hard to implement these updates, with key enhancements on track to roll out later this month (November), mid-December, and early January, and will kick off the next phase of training for the community.
Here’s what’s next:
We will be organizing all franchise partners into training groups based on the summer season start dates you shared in the community survey on September 26. You’ll receive your group assignment in early December, and NBC platform training will officially kick off in January.
To ensure flexibility, these mandatory training sessions will be offered twice weekly and recorded for future reference. Training will be delivered in phases, with sessions tailored to your specific go-live dates. This approach takes into account the feedback from our pilot group, emphasizing that incremental training closer to onboarding leads to greater success and less retraining.
Please note that training will run alongside the ongoing pilot program, so you may see updates and improvements happening in real time. Rest assured; we’ll keep you informed about any changes as they arise.
We deeply appreciate your continued support, partnership, and enthusiasm as we work together to implement the new ERP system. We’re confident that the new platform will elevate our customer and internal user experience and can’t wait for you to enjoy the benefits firsthand.
